New to Yoga


Welcome! One of the most difficult things about yoga is getting yourself to the studio! There are endless reasons and excuses why now is the not right time. The yogic texts remind us that Yoga happens in relationship and meets us exactly where we are. We look forward to meeting you!

The following classes are designed for beginners or those wanting to move at a slower, more mindful peace:

Yoga Rx (level 1 beginners)
Tuesdays 10:30am-12 with Alana Mitnick
Thursdays10:30am-12 with Jeanne Korn

Rise and Shine with Alana Mitnick (level 1 beginners)
Saturdays 10:45am-12:00pm

Yoga Basics/Yoga Unwind (level 1/2 beginners)
Mondays 5:15-6:45pm with Alana Mitnick
Thursdays 5:15-6:45pm with Julia Berkeley

Healthy Joints & Postural Restoration with Health Perry (all levels)
Mondays and Wednesdays 10:30-11:30am

Restorative Yoga with Jeanne Korn (all levels)
Wednesdays 5:15-6:45pm

Senior Yoga with Karen Kelly (all levels)
Fridays 12-1:15pm

WHAT TO BRING:

The studio is fully equip with yoga mats and props at no additional charge.

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. We suggest showing up on a relatively light or empty stomach. We also recommend investing in your own yoga mat because it helps with commitment and it reminds us to practice when we get too busy or forget.
