Rosemary Garrison

Rosemary Garrison

Rosemary teaches a strong, honest and deeply compassionate flow practice. She emphasizes the breath, intention, mindful alignment and ultimately, the cultivation of energy and awareness. It is her experience and belief that a consistent practice offers the practitioner a pathway to his or her own divine, radiant nature.

Rosemary’s journey towards becoming a devoted yogi and eventually, a yoga instructor began with the Ashtanga first series taught by beloved Ashtanga yoga teacher Tim Miller. Hooked on yoga immediately, she devoted herself to the mysore practice and studied with Tim extensively. Years later, further exploration guided her to Vinyasa Flow yoga classes where she found the dance of Vinyasa liberating, beautiful, creative, and alive. She then began practicing with an amazing array of teachers within the yoga flow lineage including Dharma Mittra and Shiva Rea, learning increased depth and subtlety within the practice – and within the art of teaching.

After teacher trainings with David Swenson, a Yoga Alliance Certification, and a myriad of other trainings, she began her teaching career in 2004. Her most recent Ashtanga Primary Series teacher training has been under the instruction of Tim Miller in January 2012. In addition to her physical practice, Rosemary has studied Vipassana Meditation at Spirit Rock Center and maintains a personal meditation practice.

Rosemary currently teaches at various yoga studios in San Francisco and Ojai including The Pad and the Ojai Yoga Shala. She also leads a number of popular yoga retreats and trainings in California, Hawaii and Mexico each year. Rosemary’s website.

Eden Flynn

Eden Flynn
Eden‘s interest in yoga, and her curiosity about he mind-body connection started at a very young age.  However, it wasn’t until her early adulthood, after sustaining several dance injuries from decades of dance training that she began studying yoga more seriously. She began studying with Shiva Rae at the UCLA World Arts and Cultures Department close to twenty years ago and has since learned from countless other wonderful and generous teachers.

While she was first drawn to yoga for its therapeutic benefits, she soon became captivated by its vast nourishing, revealing, and life enriching benefits and it has since remained an intimate part of every aspect of her life. The teacher who she has remained closest too and most deeply inspired by is Mother Nature and all of her rhythms, cycles, sounds, and sensations.  Eden lives in Ojai with her partner, their two toddlers and teenager.

She completed her RYT 200 teacher training in 2006, and teaches to serve the community by helping others open to yoga’s immeasurable gifts.
